The Eagle Apartment

The Eagle Apartment at Whale Watcher House is a charming oceanfront rental in St. Michaels near Bauline South, Newfoundland, situated right on the edge of the ocean with stunning views of the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve. This self-contained, two bedroom, two bathroom apartment offers the perfect amount of space for two couples or for a family travelling with children or young adults.  Each bedroom features a private washroom with shower, and a private deck. The kitchen and living room open up to a deck with one of the best views on the Avalon Peninsula. The storage cupboard hides a single rollaway cot, should it be required.

Guests staying in the Loon can take in whale watching in nearby Bauline South with Great Island Boat Tours, or take the short 15 minute drive up to Bay Bulls and head out on the water with either O’Brien’s or Gatheralls.  All options will find you up close and personal with puffins, gannets, kittiwakes, etc.  Open the front door and you are on the East Coast Trail with some of the best hiking in Eastern Canada. The location of the Whale Watcher makes it an ideal base for coastal hikes and exploring the natural beauty of Newfoundland’s coastline.
